We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all anything. Your brows are completely customized to your facial structure and preferences.
We want your brows to look like brows. This means we use the highest quality tools, pigments, and techniques to give you the most realistic looking brows possible.
We err on the side of caution in regards to shape, size, and color at your first session. A worst case scenario is to give you brows that are “too much.” We always have your included perfecting session to build them up!
What can I expect during my appointment?
Your appointment begins with a consultation where we discuss your goals, review your medical history, and answer all of your questions.
Then we begin the shaping process, measuring your facial features to ensure your brows are the perfect shape. After numbing, we custom-mix the perfect color for you.
We keep it conservative at your initial appointment in terms of shape, size, and color so that you can get used to your new brows. We can always go bolder at your complimentary touchup!
WHAT WILL I LOOK LIKE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
While every client is different, redness is generally minimal and most clients can return to work immediately after the procedure. Redness should dissipate by the following morning. Brows will be at their darkest and most distinct during the first 3-7 days as your body begins the healing process. During this time, some clients scab. Once any scabs begin to peel, the color will fade and the hairstrokes will appear lighter and more subtle. Sometimes the strokes will appear to have disappeared entirely, but don't worry they should return! This is part of the healing process.
WHAT WILL MY BROWS LOOK LIKE AFTER HEALING?
Expect your brows to be 50% done after your initial appointment, and 100% done after your touchup. Once any scabs peel, the color will reduce by approximately 30% and the hairstrokes will appear softer. Very oily skinned clients will have more blended results. Around the 6-week mark, you will see your final color. This is why we schedule your touchup for this time!
What if I've had my brows microbladed/tattooed elsewhere?
We do not perform "touchups" on other artists' work. A new-to-us client is a new client. You must schedule a consultation to see if your brows are workable. Corrective work may require additional touchups. Additional touchups will incure additional fees.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Although our typical appointment structure fits the majority of clients, everyone is different. Some clients do not require a touchup, while others may require an additional touchup. Additional touchups are more likely if a client has little natural hair or we are doing coverup work. Additional touchups will incure additional fees.
HOW LONG WILL MY BROWS LAST?
After your touchup, your brows should last between 12-24 months. The exact time depends on a variety of factors: skin type, sun exposure, skincare, age, and chosen pigment color. A color boost is recommended around the 18-month mark. However, some clients choose to get touchups more or less frequently.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Current pricing is $650, which includes both your initial appointment and a perfecting session at 6-weeks. Corrective work will incur additional fees.
DOES IT HURT?
We use two different topical numbing agents to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. That being said, everyone is unique in their pain tolerance and sensitivity to numbing.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY REAL BROWS?
We work together to create the brows you've always wanted! For some clients, this means incorporating their entire existing brow. For others, we will remove any hairs that fall outside of your perfect new shape. Unlike a traditional tattoo, the entire area does not need to be shaved.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
Under California law, you must be 18 years or older to book an appointment.
WHAT IF I’M PREGNANT OR NURSING?
Purely as a precaution, we will not perform microblading procedures on pregnant or nursing women.
